Temporary
files are created by applications to aid their execution speed. These need to
be deleted when these apps finish executing these tasks. However, this is not the
case because one has to delete these files manually. The small files created
by these applications can sometimes pail up to large storage using the device
RAM causing lag when processing other applications.
If
you want to delete all temporary files from your PC, press Windows + R
The above search box
would appear. Type %temp% at
the search box and then press Enter or the OK button at the bottom.
A folder containing
these temporary files would appear. Select all files by pressing ctrl +A Go to home and then
select delete permanently to remove these temporary files.
Repeat
the same process but replace %temp%
with temp and prefetch respectively.
Deleting
all files from %temp%,
temp, and prefetch folders is the
simplest way of deleting all temporary files that are stored on your pc.
